Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Jurisdiction and Venue
- Hong Kong courts have primary jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms
- We may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction
- Cross-border disputes may be resolved through arbitration as specified below
- Venue for Hong Kong proceedings is the High Court of Hong Kong
Arbitration
For disputes involving parties from multiple jurisdictions:
- Arbitration conducted under Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) rules
- Seat of arbitration: Hong Kong
- Language: English
- Number of arbitrators: One (for disputes under HK$1 million) or three (for larger disputes)
